About Lori
Lori Militello is the founder and director of Women in Touch Ministries International, a nonprofit organization based in southeast Michigan. For the past 29 years, her work in women's ministry—combined with her dynamic speaking and inspirational messages—has impacted the lives of thousands of women around the world. She is passionate about teaching, training, and equipping women to flourish in every area of their Christian lives.
Meet Lori
Hello Friends! Thank you so much for visiting my speaker page and giving me the opportunity to share a little bit about myself. If we were meeting in person, I'd give you a big hug and offer you a cup of coffee—or tea, if you prefer. Personally, I'm a coffee gal.
I was born in the iconic city of Detroit, raised in Sterling Heights, and now live in southeast Michigan with the love of my life and best friend, Michael. We've been married since 1986 and are proud parents of three amazing adult children, two wonderful sons-in-law, and four beautiful grandchildren. They are truly a blessing and my greatest joy.
Beyond my love for family, the Lord has given me a deep passion for ministering to women. After 24 years of serving on the Leadership Team at our former church, I felt the Lord's leading to extend my ministry beyond the church walls. Through much prayer and with the encouragement and support of others, Women in Touch Ministries was born.
Now after 29 years of serving in nearly every area of women's ministry, my love for the Lord and my passion for ministering to women continue to grow. I'm so grateful for the opportunities I've had over the years, which have allowed me to make many meaningful connections with women—not only here in the United States, but also in Kenya, India, the Philippines, and Pakistan.
I firmly believe the Lord orders our steps and connects us through meaningful relationships.
